As the name suggests, executive assistants support a particular member of the organisation’s leadership team. Working for managing directors, CEOs, c-suite leaders, board members and entrepreneurs, executive assistants provide top-level management support and organisation.
Executive assistant daily responsibilities include:
managing and attending meetings
taking care of email correspondence
booking travel
fielding phone enquiries
producing a variety of documents such as meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, proposals, policies and contracts
liaising with internal and external stakeholders
working with staff across the business
providing office management support, if required
A typical salary for this level executive assistant ranges between $80,000 to $120,000+ per annum. Often the role comes with added staff benefits.
